An assortment of products to use with, and embellish the surface of, Polymer Clay. Here you will find the items for creating faux stained glass, glazes, inkjet transfers, mica shift techniques, metal leafing and foiling.
The image (right) shows Jacquard Pearl-Ex mica powder
smoothed over the surface of unbaked clay. The colours work
particularly well on dark coloured backgrounds and, due to their
resistance to heat, the Pearl-Ex can be baked with the clay. A
layer of varnished will help the Pearl-Ex to remain in place and also
increase the vibrance of the colours. The metal leaf and foils
work in a similar way and crackling effects can be created by placing
the foil onto the surface of the unbaked clay and then rolling it again,
causing it to fracture
