Imported from the USA, Pearl Ex mica powders are the best that we have found to use on polymer clays and give superb pearl, iridescent and metallic effects. They are finer textured than metallic powders and are particularly good on black or dark clays. Non-tarnishing and colourfast. Temperature resistant to 600C.
Pearlescent colours are difficult to show on screen or in print. These are the closest approximations we can manage!
Duo colours - show the first colour on light clay, the second colour on dark clay and can be used for interesting effects.
Interference colours behave like oil on water and give a strong effect on dark clay ranging to pastel on white clay.
Try using Pearl white on white clay for wonderful pearls. The same colour on black clay gives a beautiful bright silver - better than the Silver colour!

NB the jars used are oversized to allow for settling and avoid spillage.
