"Findings" are the pieces of metal that are attached to your creations which then turn them into wearable jewellery.
Art Clay Silver fires to pure silver (99.9%) and so there is no firescale (blackening) in the firing process. Pure silver findings are the best to use with Art Clay Silver, because they too will not blacken in the firing process (which Sterling findings will). We offer a range of pure silver findings here that are produced by the manufacturers of Art Clay Silver.
Silver plated or nickel plated findings are more economical but should not be fired with Art Clay Silver. However, they can be glued to the fired silver with epoxy glue. See Jewellery findings for these findings.
